Marriage Conference

February 2nd, 2019 at Carlton Hills SBC

This conference is an opportunity to learn about building a strong and healthy marriage according to Scripture. It is intended for married couples, engaged couples, and singles who want to prepare for marriage. It will have a mix of presentations from our speaker and opportunities to discuss and share ideas with others. This is a FREE event, so join us and invest in your marriage. See below for more information. Please register so that we can plan on materials.

Our speaker for the conference is David W. Hegg who serves as Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, CA. David became the senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in 2009 after having served as the pastor of Northpoint Evangelical Free Church in Corona, CA for 16 years. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at The Master's University in the areas of Preaching and Theology. He is a published author with four books in print and writes a weekly column on religion and ethics for the Santa Clarita Signal. He has been very happily married to Cherylyn for 41 years. They have three married children and two beautiful granddaughters.

Additional details

  • Please note that childcare will not be provided.

  • During the one hour lunch break you will be given questions to discuss while you get lunch with your spouse or significant other, or if single with a friend or two. We recommend not going home as it will be too easy to get pulled into other things.

  • The final homework assignment for the conference for those married or engaged will be a dinner date that evening. It is intended as a time to remember your first love with no other agenda other than to enjoy each other's company.
