Compassion for Lost People | Obadiah v. 1-4, 10-17

The world around us appears to triumph and continually have the upper-hand. Those in the Church today can easily fall into despair and feel that all is lost. But things today are truly no different than they were during the time of Obadiah's prophecy. The Hebrew kingdom of Judah was lying in ruins after an Edomite attack. Yet we know that God held final judgement then and He continues to hold it now. We can take confidence in this and it should enable us to have compassion on our enemies and seek their salvation.

Join us in one of our two Adult Sunday School classes this week (9:30am). One group meets in our classroom at the back of the sanctuary (enter through the main sanctuary door, then first room on the right). The other group meets in the Fellowship Hall (look for the sign and the friendly greeter down the hall). We look forward to you joining us!
